CPA
Alison earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from the University of Hawaii. Living on the island of Kauai in Hawaii, she worked in the field of accounting in various capacities and owned her own bookkeeping company. Inspired by a CPA mentor, she returned to the University of Hawaii to obtain an advanced certificate in accounting to be able to take the CPA exams. She moved to Portland in 2011 to start a new career in public accounting, joining Irvine & Company in early 2023.
Alison most enjoys helping small business owners with their accounting processes, bookkeeping, and tax planning. She also enjoys training staff new to the profession and is a strong believer in life-long learning.
In her down time, Alison is an avid video game player with her husband. They also have a standing Friday night date night to connect and unwind before the weekend.
