Heather has worn many hats prior to landing at Irvine & Co. She’s done everything from customer service to pension administration; contemplated law school and ran a small business.
After receiving a bachelor’s degree in history from Cal State Northridge, Heather moved to Oregon in 2011 where she received an accounting degree from Linfield University. She eventually went on to earn a master’s degree in taxation from Portland State University, where she was a member of the first graduating class of PSU’s inaugural program.
Heather enjoys helping small businesses in all industries solve complicated tax problems and acts as coordinator for our tax research team.
She appreciates Irvine & Co’s flexibility and the opportunity to keep a part-time schedule so she can devote time to being a mom to her amazing kid. Her favorite activities outside of work include spending time with family, reading as many books as possible in a year, attempting to keep her indoor and outdoor gardens alive, and doing crossword puzzles.
