Before beginning his accounting career at Irvine & Company, Josh lived another life as an outdoor educator at both the National Outdoor Leadership School and Lewis & Clark College (all the while migrating west from the east coast). Josh has a Bachelor of Science in Geography from Appalachian State University and went back to school almost a decade later to study Accounting at Portland State University.
Josh has a personal passion for wine which began in 2005 when he worked at a ski lodge in Alta, Utah. It was a Seghesio Old Vine Zinfandel that turned him from merely liking wine to loving it. Luckily for Josh (and for us), he was able to blend his passion for wine with his public accounting career when he joined Irvine & Company in 2013. Regardless of complexity, Josh enjoys working with small businesses to help them solve problems.
In his spare time, Josh likes to get back to his roots by getting outside and hiking, camping, trail running, skiing (outside of tax season of course), and mushroom hunting.
