Prior to joining the Irvine & Company team, Maxine spent several years working as a sales project manager for a film lighting and grip company in California. An opportunity arose in the accounting department, and she was asked to assist with the business’ bookkeeping. She discovered that she loved the work and shortly after decided that she wanted to pursue a career in public accounting.
Maxine met with Irvine & Company in 2020, and the firm felt like a perfect match – engaging work, exciting clientele, and dogs in the office - what could be better? What Maxine enjoys most about public accounting (and Irvine & Company specifically) is the opportunity to build long-term partnerships with clients and assisting those clients with complex financial situations.
Outside of work Maxine enjoys baking, British comedies, karaoke and spending time with dogs (both her own canine companions, as well as those she meets volunteering).
